Awase is an integrated TEI viewer. It brings text, annotations, images and maps together in a single view.
Screens
- Viewer: read TEI text side by side with images, variants, names & dates, speech, maps, timelines and parallel translations.
- Compare: place two sources (IIIF manifests) side by side to compare their images and character-level text differences.
- XSL: transform TEI with XSLT (SaxonJS) and try out how it looks.
- DTS: browse collections served through DTS (Distributed Text Services) and open chosen texts.
Each screen takes what to open, and its settings, from the URL query (everything after ?), so you can share any view by its URL.
